Het volledige programma van de IETM meeting ONE on ONE in Vooruit en Gent staat online! Tientallen infosessies, werkgroepen, discussies, trainingen, demonstraties, stadswandelingen, voorstellingen van vroeg in de morgen tot diep in de nacht.

You can check the full programme of the IETM meeting ONE on ONE at Vooruit, Ghent online (French and English). The programme consists of info sessions, workshops, debates, trainings, demonstrations, city walks, exhibitions from early in the morning until late in the evening.

Vooruit en het Festival van Vlaanderen hebben zich met de Gentse collega’s uit de naad gewerkt om de ruim 500 collega’s uit heel Europa en ver daarbuiten een denderende vierdaagse te bezorgen in het culturele hart van Vlaanderen.

Vooruit and the Flanders Festival have worked their backs to the bone in order welcome 500 colleagues from Belgium and other countries to a spectacular 4-day event in the cultural heart of Flanders.

Het thema ONE on ONE buigt zich over de individualisering, digitalisering en het toenemende tweerichtingsverkeer in het maken, tonen en verspreiden van kunst en cultuur. Specialisten uit de academische wereld, bedrijfswereld, overheid en het artistieke veld gooien meningen en ervaringen op tafel, artiesten tonen hoe zij omgaan met (nieuwe) technologie en het individueel beleven van een toeschouwer in ARTISTIC WORKOUT, een reeks installaties, performances en MEET YOUR MAKER, intieme gesprekken met artiesten.

The ONE on ONE theme concentrates on individualisation, digitalisation and the increase of two-way communication in the making, showing and spreading of art and culture.Experts from the academic, art and corporate worlds and the government will share their opinions and experiences, artist will show how they deal with (new) technology and the individual experience of the spectator in ARTISTIC WORKOUT, a series of installations, performances and MEET YOUR MAKER, intimate talks with artists.

Vooruit toont tijdens IETM een eerste versie van de MU-TABLE, een multitouchscherm toepassing die een handige tool kan vormen voor netwerking (dat zullen IETM-leden meteen kunnen uittesten!). We demonstreren ook hoe de MU-TABLE bv. de ontsluiting van digitaal (audiovisueel) archiefmateriaal of databases spectaculair zou kunnen veranderen. Voor de MU-TABLE werkte Vooruit o.m. samen met EDM (Expertisecentrum Digitale Media). Nieuws over de verdere ontwikkeling volgt.

During IETM, Vooruit will be showing a first version of the MU-TABLE, a multi-touch screen application that might well be a very handy tool for networking (IETM members will be able to try this out of course!). We will also be demonstrating how the MU-TABLE might be able to change the way we deal with digital audiovisual archive material or databases radically. For the development of the MU-TABLE, Vooruit collaborated with EDM, among others. We will keep you posted on the further development of this technology.

U kan nog altijd inschrijven voor de IETM meeting. Als u er niet bij kan zijn, dan wil u misschien online meekijken en praten bij de COOL MEDIA HOT TALKSHOW, een volledig gedigitaliseerd online en live discussieprogramma van De Balie Amsterdam op zaterdag 6 oktober van 10 tot 12 uur. U kan zelf thema’s, sprekers en vragen aandragen en live tussenkomen in het programma.

This is a completely digitalised live online debate show by De Balie Amsterdam on Saturday the 6th of October from 10 am until midday. You’ll be able to ask questions, suggest themes and speakers and interact live during the programme.
