Kunstencentrum Vooruit en het Festival van Vlaanderen sloegen de handen ineen voor ONE ON ONE, de herfstmeeting van IETM (Informal European Theatre Meeting) in en rond Vooruit. Tijdens vier hectische dagen in oktober kwamen 499 deelnemers uit 33 landen bijeen om kennis te maken met nieuwe technologieën en toepassingen, voorstellingen te zien (meer dan 90 in vier dagen tijd), contacten te leggen en Gent te verkennen. Veel liefde en dank aan de collega’s en partners, sprekers, moderatoren, artiesten en deelnemers voor inzet, goesting en aanwezigheid bij deze onvergetelijke vierdaagse. ONE ON ONE, the IETM Fall Meeting in Ghent, hosted by Vooruit and the Festival of Flanders, was a great overall success. During 4 hectic days, 499 participants from 33 countries gathered to explore emerging technologies and to learn new skills, watch performances (more than 90 in 4 days time), expand their network and check out the city of Ghent. We would like to say a big thank you to our colleagues, partners, speakers, moderators, artists and the participants for making this meeting amemorable event. De zomer is voorbij. Het culturele seizoen trekt zich op gang. Al lag het seizoen in Vooruit nooit écht stil. We ontvingen de jonge choreografen/dansers Tarek Halaby en Sujata Goel. Dolores Bouckaert was in alle stilte in één van onze studio’s aan het werk en Ontroerend Goed, nog maar net terug van hun overwinningstocht in het verre Edinburg (Fringe Festival), palmde een andere studio in. Maar nu is het bijna herfst, en maken enkele bekende en minder bekende namen zich op voor hun eindspurt richting première. In pole position staat Crew. Summer is gone. But the cultural season is only just getting started, and in Vooruit, it never stopped. Over the summer, we welcomed young choreographers / dancers Tarek Halaby and Sujata Goel. Dolores Bouckaert worked in one of our studios while Ontroerend Goed, only just back from their victory march in faraway Edinburgh (Fringe Festival), occupied another studio.
