PressTo: Vooruit Café laat je niet op je honger zitten luidde een Vooruit.EXE-post van 29 september 2008 over de PressTo pagers, de kleine doosjes die zijn uitgerust met draadloze technologie om klanten van het Vooruit Café te signaleren dat hun bestelde schotels klaarstaan op de toog.
PressTo: Never go hungry again in the Vooruit Café was the title of an September 29 2008 EXE post about the PressTo pagers, the small boxes equipped with wireless technology to alert customers in the Vooruit Café that their food is ready at the counter.
In Vooruit wordt sinds de succesvolle introductie van de PressTo prototypes gedroomd over de verdere ontwikkeling van dat concept. Nu heeft Vooruit een team samengesteld van creatieve ondernemers (binnen en buiten Vooruit) dat zal nagaan of (en hoe) het concept kan worden vermarkt. Dat team is geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan een iBoot camp van het IBBT in het voorjaar 2009 – een uitgelezen kans op constructieve feedback en handige contacten in de bedrijfswereld!
Since the successful introduction of the prototypes, the Vooruit team has been dreaming about the further development of the concept. Now Vooruit has assembled a team of creative entrepreneurs (from in and outside Vooruit) who will study if and how the concept can be introduced on the market. This team has been selected to take part in an iBoot camp by IBBT in the spring of 2009 – the perfect opportunity to get constructive feedback and make new professional contacts.
